For one-on-one coaching, you can be at any size or stage. For workshops and 90-day engagements, we recommend being an established business with a team of 5 or more.

It's really up to you. We have one-hour one-on-one coaching, one to two day workshops, 90-day support contracts, and retainers available. Our goal is to make our services unnecessary as quickly as possible.

All of our engagements start with a discovery call to ensure that we are a good fit for each other. We specialize in small to mid-sized businesses, from start-ups to established organizations being passed from generation to generation. Typically business coaches fall into one of two categories:

  1. Someone who has done what you are looking to do and is willing to give you their playbook. That's a great model, but the downfall is that they reached that achievement at a different time, with different employees, addressing different customers and different competition. The principles may still apply, but you're going to be applying an old playbook to a game where the rules have changed.
  2. Someone who is essentially a life coach for business owners. They are a highly paid cheerleader. They are going to ask you what you want to talk about, tell you "You can do it!" and then, possibly, check back in next week and tell you "We all fall short sometimes" when you didn't do what you said you were going to do.

Guidon is neither of these. We offer one-on-one coaching where you are going to ultimately discover the changes you need to make to get to where you want to go, but we're not going to cheer you on from the sidelines. We may have never been where you are today, serving the market you serve, but we are going to pull out of you the right path, outline a winning actionable strategy, and journey with you to its fulfillment so we can alter it if we see it's not working along the way.

Our workshops sometimes elicit friendly confrontation. We prioritize getting to the root cause and making sure everyone is on board with the plan and knows what is expected of them at the end of the day. We then maintain communication so that we can ensure what we developed with you is really what you need.
